Book Sleeves
What is a book sleeve?
A book sleeve is a padded fabric pouch used to carry and protect books. Our book sleeves are hand-made with a thick, cushioning padding and premium cotton fabrics, designed to last for many years.
What size book sleeve should I order?
Our book sleeves come in two sizes; Novel (small) & Tome (large). We've created a book sleeve sizing guide to help you decide what book sleeve size is best for you. We do recommend sizing up if you are unsure, or if you want to ensure a roomy fit for your books.
How do I clean my book sleeve?
We recommend cleaning your book sleeve with a damp cloth. We do not recommend putting your book sleeves in the washing machine or dryer because it may cause the padding to lose it's shape.
Will limited edition book sleeve designs be restocked?
We create book sleeves in one off collections and limited quantities. We do not have any plans to restock sold out book sleeve designs at this stage.
Orders, Shipping & Delivery
When will my order ship?
We aim to ship your bookish treasures to you as soon as possible. However, we are a small (one person!) business so our standard turn around time can be between 3-7 business days. This could be 7-10 days during busy periods. Please be patient with us if it takes us a few days to ship your order, we are trying to get it to you as soon as we can.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within Australia. We aim to ship internationally soon, so please keep your eye on our socials or check back here for further updates.
What are my shipping options?
All items are shipped through Australia Post. We offer Standard or Express postage within Australia, which can be selected at Check out. Shipping times are calculated based on Australia Post delivery guides and are as follows: 2-8 business days (Regular), 1-4 business days (Express). Please note this may increase during busy periods. Free shipping applies on orders over $100.
Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns or refunds?
We do not accept returns or provide refunds unless your product is faulty. If your product is faulty, please get in touch with us ASAP at hello@readerofbooks.au with details and photographs of the issue. Please see our Refund Policy for further information.
I've purchased the wrong size, can I exchange it?
We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong sizing so please ensure you double check what you are ordering before you purchase it. Please see our book sleeve sizing guide to determine the best size for your book sleeve.
Wholesale, Retail & Collaborations
Do you offer wholesale book sleeves?

Can I find your book sleeves in a store?
We do not currently have our book sleeves stocked in any retail stores, but if you are interested in stocking our book sleeves please get in touch with us at hello@readerofbooks.au or via our Contact page.
